HCMH MAMMOGRAPHY DEPARTMENT REACCREDITED

ROGERSVILLE – The mammography department at Hawkins County Memorial Hospital has been reaccredited by the American College of Radiology for a three-year term.

Accreditation is required to receive certification from the Food and Drug Administration to perform mammograms. The American College of Radiology is the nation’s oldest and largest accrediting body for mammography.

Chad Adams serves as Hawkins County Memorial’s director of medical imaging, and Tammy Henard is the hospital’s lead mammography technician. Mammography technicians are Tara Amyx and Darlene Lee.
