Marketing communications professionals are available to assist members of the news media with questions or information about Wellmont Health System and our hospitals. We can help you locate an expert spokesperson, follow up on a news release or event or obtain information on a patient.
The marketing communications department is staffed from 8 a.m.-6 p.m. Monday through Friday. Media representatives who need to reach us after business hours should call 423-306-1702. You may also call the hospital operator at 423-224-4000 and ask that the on-call media relations representative be paged.
In accordance with our policy and procedures, all news media professionals must contact the marketing communications department before speaking with Wellmont Health System employees or visiting our facilities.
